thanks everybody for your replies. They did make open a vent in the wall to have as much air movement as possible and i did apply a bleach solution. hopefully it will help somewhat. will definitely buy a dehumidifier. ANyone has experience with dehumidifiers? I know i have to empty water...

schmj4910, i don't knwo where you get it in the US since I am in France now, if i recollect correctly Trader Joe's carries it. I use it as any regular oil, basically add it to veggies. our nutritionist prescribed adding 1 tea spoon per meal of oil until 2 y/o and then upped it to 1 tbl spoon...

AleksandraKaczynska, you were right to check. I also asked our CF doctor before going, but she said it was not a problem, but sometimes I prefer to err on the safe side even if CF center thinkgs nothing of it.

it could be strep throat. My dd w/cf just went through something like that: very high fever and not much else, did not even complain of sore throat. I took her to the ped's office and it was strep throat.
