So Archie has another cold which has gone to his chest. I left it about 5 days to see if he could get over it on his own but after talking to his pediatrician he is on antibiotics again. My doc is always quick to put him on antibiotics. He says if he has a wheeze (which he does with every cold)...

Thanks Guys, I have to go to doc anyway for me so I will take him down and just maybe get a script on hand in case he starts getting congested. I'm inclined to wait usually too but that fact the I have it and his Dad has it and it is in my chest makes me think it may do the same with him - but...

Archie is showing some cold symptoms. I am predicting this is the beginning of a cold as he has a runny nose, has been sneezing and coughing  now and again (just a dry cough - no production), His Dad has the cold and I am feeling like I'm getting it  as well - runny nose/ dry coldy throat...

Thanks Jody, I think I will not worry too much about adding protein to his milk anymore. He eats plenty of veg, meat and has some soy/goats milk/products so I would assume he is getting enough protein. His weight/height is great at the moment - 75% so I think I will just keep doing what I'm...

Hi Amber,<br> <br> Vibes are little compressions I do on Archie's chest after CPTing him. You kind of push down a little (not too hard) and vibrate your hand so it kind of jiggles. Hard to explain but the theory is if any mucous has come loose this will help to jiggle it off. I do 2 mins CPT...

Took Archie to his local GP today and he has put him on antibiotics. Said he could here mucous in his lungs so to be safe better start him on a course. Hopefully it clears up quickly. I'm seeing his CF doc on Thursday - will ask him about wheezing and how long to leave it before starting...
