Having membranes stripped on Monday

let us know what you think.

personally I wouldn't want it done before I was overdue but with the gd I'm not sure how that plays into it. my opinion is a baby will come when (s)he is ready.

now that I've gone through the experience of having my water break and labor not begin I wouldn't want to do anything that could contribute to this condition again. so much for laboring at home and a natural childbirth.... induction with a close call at a c-section.

why not at least wait until 39 weeks?

Being the NICU nurse that I am, I don't think there is anything to worry about with having te baby at 38 weeks. 38-40 weeks is considered full term in my world! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Better that going past 40, ya know? I bet you are so anxious to get this baby out!

Question for you: I read somewhere that you said you would want your FEV1 at 70 before getting pregnant agiain due to shortess of breath. Just curiuos, what was your FEV1 this time? Has it dropped a lot throughout the prenancy?
