How old were you when you went for your first GYN visit? OR how old was your daughter?

Did you go for CF reasons or regular woman reasons?

I went just after I turned 17 for what ended up being a terrible pelvic infection.

I went when I was 17 -- senior year in high school. Had it done before going off to the university. I believe my SIL had her step-daughter do the same. Indicate that it's important to take charge of your healthcare, get regular exams...

i went when i was 18 for the first time. and i went because i was needing to go on birth control. i think i wouldn't have gone earlier if i hadn't needed to. just didn't want someone down there that didn't need to be. lol.

I went when i was 16 to a female GYN, i always try to go to females. Wasn't c/f related, cause i didn't know i had c/f, duh.. Anyway i went because i had such severe pain during menstruation (the pain was due to the fact that i had a tipped uterus, which is pretty common)..Went through menopause at the age of 50ish so no more . s , yippie ~ <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> joni
