Jessi-It can take a long time for a cycle to regulate itself after bc, also keep in mind many cf'ers ovulate irregularly to start with and some have irregular cycles. I am confused I thought you were waiting, are you trying to get pregnant now?

Leah-edited to say that my peri has taken care of other cf'ers she was the one that everyone wher she used to practice at woudl send their cf patients.

My period came pretty regularly right after stopping the pill but on closer evaluation my cycle did to regulate until about 5 months post stopping bc.

Leah, not trying to speak for Jessi here but to try to answre your question, I'm pretty confident in the fact that her OB has seen other CF women/does see them. We live in Seattle, which has a pretty big CF center at the UW so it would make sense to me.

jessi, I PM'd you back, but I wanted to know just as if it was blood or urine?

I'd start to understand what this means early on and just like you'll do with your med's weigh the risk / benefit ratio. Next time around - as long as my health is the same as it is now - I will opt not for the "agressive approach."
