I bought this pillow system when National Jewish decided my bronchiectasis was from reflux (and possibly the alpha-1 deficiency). They wanted me to get an adjustable bed and insisted that without leg support, I would slide down the bed and not get enough of an angle.

I found that my left lower lobe ached every morning when I used it, so it is in the attic now and my husband using it when studying up there. I figured it was doing reverse postural drainage on me all night.
For now, I am careful about coffee (none), alcohol (almost none), mint tea (used to love, but noticed that it makes my reflux worse). I have not followed NJ's intructions to get an endoscopy, ph probe and impedence challenge. Those things are on my list for the fall. Because my compulsive exercising has worked in recent months (for mucus, and I guess, stomach-contents clearance from my lungs), I have not been motivated to get the testing.
I am sorry that you are plagued by reflux. It is a bummer that our lung meds (I can't remember if it is the steriod component or the bronchodilator part) weaken the sphincter at
the top of our stomachs too.
