I was just diagnosed last year and I am 58. Now the Dr. wants all my 3 kids to get tests and my 4 sisters. Also my husband has been tested for the gene. We don't know any of this yet.

Be advised that if you have borderline sweat tests, there is also Genetic Testing through Ambry. It's a cheek swab. Don't know if insurance covers it, but there is another option. Many non-common mutations have been found this way.
