And I'm STILL waiting to even get some. It's coming from TX, I live in OH, and it's been a nightmare to get my hands on it. Crazy since it's about $3 to make. It costs more to ship it to me than to manufacture it.

I want some!!!

I just talked to the nurse coordinator today, and I am going to be starting on this. You all think it helps quite a bit then? With the treatments I mean?

Definitely! It's funny, it's pretty much considered to be one of the greatest helps to CFer's found this decade so far. And all it is, is salty water. I think the studies that came out with it, said that it helps cut hospitalizations in half.

Be prepared though- the first few times you use it will probably be uncomfortable. It made my throat raw, but it turned everything in my lungs to liquid. After using it for a month or so, it lost that affect, I'm assuming because there wasn't as much to liquify!

and make sure you start low with the 3%! I have been on that for a long time and my last hospital stay they put me on 7% and I thought I was gonna choke! I finally told them I had to stop because I couldn't inhale it at all. I would just cough. So I went back down to 3% and I was fine. It definitely makes your throat and lungs raw for some time, but it is worth it once you get used to it!!!! Oh and I am one of those that salty things gives me heartburn so when I would use it I would get heartburn, but that went away after I got used to it too.
