UPDATE-Hello everyone-We had bronch/scope today on our 13 month old daughter-Doctor saw "more mucous than he expected to see in lungs"-suctioned out 6ccs from left lower lobe of lung-right lung showed some very red almost blistered appearance areas that doc.thinks are do to reflux. Doc. said mucous was clear/white -he took biopsies/samples and we will get lab results from that hopefully Monday to see what cultures grow for infection-He also drew blood while she was under sedation and we will be having all types of testing done including complete Ambry test-She tolerated procedure great-Doc. is basically saying she has an infection that needs a specific antibiotic-(we jusy finished 10 days of Omnicef), or she has CF. Her sweat test was a 7 (I know that's extremely low)-I asked him if his CF patient's lungs normally look like that,he said yes but the mucous is usually green, not white like hers. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with these circumstances?
