Hi folks, I'm Sonny, Anna's dad. Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts. Anna' did have her transplant Wed 25 July. She was in surgery for about 7 hrs. She stayed in the icu for 24 hrs and now is in the intermediate ICU where she will stay until discharged. She is doing very well. Liza, her sister and mom are taking turns entertaining Anna'.
Anna' was very excited when she was called Tuesday and I made it to Stanford before she went into surgery.
We cannot say enough about the medical staff at Stanford, wonderful caring folks.
I'm sure when she gets a chance Liza will update you all. You guys have been a great source of strength for her.
