There's a gal in my town who has CF and auditioned for American Idol. She sings as a way to exercise her lungs. I had a chance to interview her over the phone several months ago.

Props to you for playing the flute! I play the F. horn and got to perform a solo at last spring's CF Gala.

Here's a video of me and my husband. You can't hear us playing our instruments, but at least you can see it!

Count me in.... I used to sing in every school glee club there was, then moved onto singing in the Church Choir. After i for into my late teens and early 20's i was in a band. I also sang with a band on open mike night on sundays in a club ( not a great place for a cf'r) I recorded a few songs, and also got an offer to do singing telegrams ( turned it down, i didnt feel safe going to strangers houses etc.)
Now all this was when i was younger and healtier. I still sing now and then, but with all the coughing i have done over the years, it has certainly taken its toll on my voice. Also my lung function isnt as good as it used to be, so i cant hold notes as long as i used to.

I love your instrument too<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">...and you play the piano. I think that is awesome.

Diane....I love that you sing! That is too cool. I bet that has kept your lungs strong for many years. So glad to see you posting more and hopefully feeling much better.
