Oh God, Sean is the slowest eater around. The rest of us will be done, the table cleared, and he'll still be working on his dinner. We've told him time and again that he needs to eat quickly so he doesn't feel full too soon but it's a lost cause <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0"> Even with foods he loves, he is still pokey.

Tucker is a very slow eater. He is so busy being a chatty-cat that he takes forever. Now if it is chocolate it is gone almost before he gets the package open. Again it may also be a control issue.

My 3.5 year old with CF eat so slow that we are about to go crazy. We tried so many things and nothing seems to work. Every meal is a battle. My husband and I get so frustrated and sometimes even we end up fighting. I'm just hoping things get better.

Our three year old is incredibly slow too...we were also wondering if it was a CF thing...I think we are being taught patience...
Sometimes it helps to have a little treat that he loves (like chocolate), sitting on the table. If he knows he gets it after, he eats a bit better. We end up shoveling food into his mouth to speed him up, and get a decent amount of food into him. He never really seems that hungry. Huge change from before he was diagnosed!
