Well its still you dong the cooking BUT....

You can google supper suppers and they have a cook book with the recipes that they have at their meal assembly spots as previously described. They tell you how you can have a party and each person brings the ingredients for one of the dishes and you meet at a friends over wine and then each person assembles on of each type of meal. This way you get a fun evening, multiple different dinners, and you just have to pay for the ingredients for one large one for the 4-5 gals to put together which is cheaper than ingredients for 5 different dinners for a smaller group normally.

I also invested in a good vac sealer so whenever I cook I try to ensure there is left over for 1 more dinnner for 2-3 and I freeze that for nights I just dont have it in me. Or if small portions are left I freeze individual meal for a quick lunch.

Hire someone to clean the house - easier to find. Maybe you can "ease" them into the cooking job?

We do have a couple slow cooker/crockpot cookbooks that were fairly inexpensive called "fix it and forget about it". My parents also introduced me to slow cooker bags -- you put them in the crockpot and it really saves on cleaning time.

Wow, I guess we have been really blessed!
Our church has many volunteers that will cook as many meals as I need or want when Nathan is doing a tune-up, whether in the hospital or at home for me. If he is in the hospital, they take care of the rest of the family so I don't have to worry by making meals for them. And again, when we come home or if we just do the whole tune-up at home, they continue to send meals to help me out so that I can concentrate on taking care of his needs. I absolutely LOVE it! It is one way they can truly help us. It took me a long time to go for it but a lot of people would always ask how they could help me and make things easier and I finally gave in and let them do the cooking, who knew how much help this would be for me. My friend that has 2 girls with CF lets them cook for them too during tune-ups and loves it. We only have to be careful because most of the people bring like 2 days worth and food gets piled up fast. I have learned to freeze what we don't use and then I have meals for 2x's longer than planned.

FYI, some churches have these kinds of ministries even for non-members. You might call and check. Apparently there are a lot of retired ladies who love to cook but have nobody to cook for so they made a cooking ministry in some churches. You just need to let them know if there are any food allergies, and then they do the rest and you just heat it up and enjoy, sometimes it comes already hot and ready to eat too.
