Artificial Birth Contol and IVF (why I am opposed to both)

I have an agenda? I am simply presenting a valid point of view to counter opposing points of view that relate to this topic that were posted in the "Adult" category. I have seen plenty of topics that don't relate to CF in all the categories within this forum. Just because I present a pro-life POV that you don't like I all of a sudden have an "agenda". Do whatever you want.

Yes, fertilization occurs before implantation and some forms of birth control can prevent implantation. Society is obviously TORN as to whether this is a moral thing or not. Do you want to tear up this forum too?

No IVF? People often do anguish over their extra embryos...all 5 cells. They freeze them, donate them or regretfully "kill" them.

No masturbation? No vasectomies? It is against God? Who's God? Your God? What about other peoples' Gods that find eating animals appalling? How do you feel about the animal ovaries in Pulmozyme? Is that what God intended for those animals?

Life and saving lives is not black and white.

No IVF? People often do anguish over their extra embryos...all 5 cells. They freeze them, donate them or regretfully "kill" them.

No masturbation? No vasectomies? It is against God? Who's God? Your God? What about other peoples' Gods that find eating animals appalling? How do you feel about the animal ovaries in Pulmozyme? Is that what God intended for those animals?

However, all of the threads on this site related to fertility, ivf, contraception, etc are all CF related.

Most are about the struggles of pregnancy with CF, or occasionally how to prevent as pregnancy w/CF can be fatal to the mother.

As the ladies above me have tried to express, your post has nothing to do with CF; in addition you posted it in various positions on the site which comes across as agressive.

Dan, I don't get the point of your IVF portion. I think it's great that you've shared the BCP info, since there is medical documentation to back it up. Seems to me your post about IVF is here to cause problems, considering how many of us women have choosen to use IVF to concieve our children. This section is about pregnancy, and if you don't have something useful to say to HELP someone who is/is trying to get pregnant, then you really don't need to spend your time posting in this section of the forum.

Here's what I believe, since we are shoving beliefs down eachothers throats: If GOD did not want us to utilize procedures such as IVF, he wouldn't have given us the knowledge to do it. Bottom line, end of story.

and please show me where in the bible it says, <i>"Under the moral aspect procreation is deprived of its proper perfection when it is not willed as the fruit of the conjugal act, that is to say, of the specific act of the spouses' union."</i> Where does it say that a child can ONLY be concieved one way?

Seems to me the Holy Catholic Church has a lot of un-founded opinions about a number of things in todays society. Fine by me, but let he who has no sins be the first to cast a stone. There's a lot of screwed up stuff going on in YOUR catholich church family right now, and to me they don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to credibility about ANYTHING.
