Artificial Birth Contol and IVF (why I am opposed to both)

**CANT REFRAIN ANY LONGER**

WTH?

So IF I understand everything you said right.....as CF patients we are suppose to allow ourselves to get pregnant? Even tho many have been told or believe themselves that it could kill us even more prematurely then CF alone can? To leave our children without a Mom & husband without a wife if our health is so poor to start with?

If we survive then its "meant to be" I suppose. If a man is robbed of being able to fathering a child without assistance then all the brains (that GOD gave to human kind) has been wasted coming up with the ways & procedures.

Explain to me (if you can) exactly what the point of posting all this hupla is? As Julie said regarding the BC.....there is medical documentation that supports it. Maybe woman arent aware of this, but the whole bit regarding IVF is SOLELY on your religious beliefs & should not be pushed onto anyone. Especially in the manner that it was by multiple posts in multiple sections....not just pregnancy (tho I feel thats an inappropriate spot for you to post at all) or the religious section!

You knew darn well this would get a heated response just as many political, religious & pro choice/pro life threads would.

Have a little more respect for the forum if you want us to respect your views! Have a little more respect for other CFers & their families!

I am using the Mirena IUC...if you are telling me that I am a baby killer etc etc you can kiss my ass. I've got <u><b>personal</b></u> <u><b>reasons</b></u> as to why I dont want children. And <b>MY GOD </b>understands it.

Im torn whether this topic should be here or not on this site at all...I feel like its a personal attack on women with CF about babies and God. Both are a really sensative issue...

I agree with you completely. I asked for the post to be moved from the main section to somewhere else. I was hoping the administators would remove it completey. I was not going to get into a religious/political discussion with Prussian -- a member of someone's army here to do battle on a front totally unrelated to C.F. Our battle is CF.

I didn't want to engage in a discussion and hear any more prostletizing. Prussian's rant (and that's what it is) quickly went from cherry picked science to his own personal religious agenda (yes agenda).

There is freedom of speech and then there's prostletizing. And I agree that as a woman, I am dismayed and disappointed that this assault as Melissa75 so aptly called it, is given space on a cystic fibrosis site and not left to Prussian to post in his own personal blog.
