I have one spot almost in the center of my backbone that is an indicator when I am sick or too congested. It almost feels like it needs to snap & sometimes does, but it doesnt really go away until I feel better.

I have various other back pain too. Sore muscles that I found are from dehydration. Lower back pain that was crippling & was actually connected to constipation.

The only time I have specific back pain is when I have an infection and I can pinpoint the spot, or during an episode of pancreatitis which radiates around to my back.

I've had back pain my entire life, even before I was diagnosed. I don't know if it's related to CF or not, but it does seem worse (or more noticeable) when I'm sick; the pain is mostly in the middle of my back and yes, nothing seems to make it feel better.
