Wow, ladies-- how busy we all have to be! So organized! For those of you whose children can't administer their own enzymes, I would so totally fight for that. Especially Emily's mom, given that the nurse station is so far away. The kids have so little time to eat already!

My 2nd grader (time does fly!) gets himself up-- we do HS then vest. He's against doing them at the same time for some unknown reason (stubborn!). He eats and gets out the door EXACTLY on time. We're lucky right now because we are only a five minute walk to school. By middle school he'll be lucky because it starts an hour later!

I'm a current CFer and I'm in middle school. For lunch, I just pack a sandwich (butter and cheese, it's really good) add some chips (or any bagged snack) and some other random stuffs. I bring a juice box or Vitamin Water or milk.

rain's school day begins at 5:30. she sets her alarm gets up and starts her treatment. she just uses an albuteral puffer b/4 her vest. (she does pulmazyme at night) and then her tobi when she's on it. (which our luck being she is on the first month of school) then she eats, takes shwer and has to be a basketball practice by 7:30. we do treatment b/c we hate that the most lol and then eat so that she wont feel sick during basketball practice. she generally packs a lunch of some sort but it is a struggle to get all those calories in.

our schedule sounds very similar to others, except if Jess has soccer practice or a game she gets to skip one vest treatment.
I find that after soccer practice (this coach has them run lots of laps around the field) she coughs up lots of gunk she never get out with the vest.
after track season in the spring she blows her highest PFT numbers of the year.

so even though it's hectic already PUSH THE EXERCISE!!!!!

keep them moving!!!!
