The fact is that that is cf. The pa can never be eradicated, and they do well for a while until they have an exacerbation...sounds like that's what's happening with your son. My kids have never gotten over colds without a course of nebbed Tobra and Timentin.

My 12yr old has jusy gone six months without antibiotics, but has jusy had some that havent worker well. That's the nature of the beast unfortunately.

Gee Jo, I'm pretty sure we're all allowed to have a moment when we struggle and hate this disease. I'm FULLY aware that this is the nature of the beast when it comes to CF, doesn't mean I need salt rubbed in the wound when I'm down. But um....thanks for the....lack of support there.

The cough does seem to be better today. The behaviors were out of control, but the cough was less.

I've thought about a humidifier before. But, I was concerned it might grow bacteria in it, which it would then send airborne. And, with his Behavioral issues, I was just as concerned that he would destroy a humidifier if I put it in his bedroom. I can't put a radio for music in his room for the same reason, can't use his Kangaroo pump at night (have to bolus feed him if I need to use the g-tube) and remove everything he could destoy, leaving his sensory toys and durable plastic toddler-type toys in there for him.
