Bloated- Help!

The day or so after Christmas I started having constipation issues. Took some Colace" and liquid stuff to move things along. That seems to work to some degree now... I am so bloated it isn't funny.

No pain (don't think I am impacted-- especially since things have been moving slowly). Causing some SOB when the bloating is at its worst.

The only thing I ate out of the ordinary is a boiled egg (they tend to cause me digestive issues in the past).

Now I can't get rid of the bloating (and "stuck" gas). Ack! Do I just deal with it and let it subside with time?? Or is there something I can take to be more comfortable?? (usually it goes away in a few hours-- this has been days of misery).

Usually when this happen I hang upside down over my bed or couch but with my history of hemopytsis there is no way that will work this time.

Do those "gas" over the counter meds work for you??

I tried Gas-X for the first time two days ago. I had similar problems to what you're describing (days of bloating, gas) And it worked! Try the extra strength gas-x soft gels. My husband did the shopping for me the other night and actually bought the brand name soft gels, but I was told by some gals on this site that Wal Mart, or any other drug store has a generic with the same ingredient that works just as well.

Good luck!

Warm compresses & massage. I think Risa had posted some of the points that help with that, but if nothing else just rub your tummy in a circular motion to get things moving. Whether it be stool or gas, it should work!

Hope you feel better!
