Bloated stomach issues :(

A gastric emptying test is when they give you either a little egg injected with radioactive dye or the CT scan dye to drink and they trace it along your digestive tract to see if things are sluggish. If they are, that could be the issue that is causing you the the distention.

Hi Kristen,

I do recall back 2007 having a gastric emptying stomach test done, where I had to drink this radio active dye. After the test results came back they mentioned that I had a sluggish gut/bowel. As far as my bowel is concerned at moment I cannot eat big meals. so am trialling 6 small meals a day and have cut out bread completely.

Update on the bloated belly...

Since 3 months ago I started a gluten free diet and have been off completely bread since then. (except for the occasional gluten free spicey fruit slices that I toast from time to time, but only once every week or 2.

All I can say is that this has helped reduced my belly issues quite a bit. But if I over size a meal then my belly starts to become prego/distended, Other than that i'm starting to see some results

Well thats the latest news from me. Thanks so much for all your replies thank are much appreciated

Hugs to all of you, Shine
