Bone Health as we get older/ Reclast

I'm curious, Saveferris. What is the alternative to Reclast that will be hitting the market soon?

Also, I have noticed that every time I put weight on my wrists, like getting up off the floor, I have pain for a few minutes. It just started a couple of months ago, but I thought maybe I had just gotten up wrong and it was healing. Now, I'm starting to wonder. Anyway, I had a bone scan done about 5 years ago, since I live in AK and get a minimum of sunlight in winter. Did any of you experience something like this before you were diagnosed with Osteopenia or Osteoporosis, or do you think this is something else entirely? Thanks! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Jen, when I was first dx I didn't have issues in my wrist but I had constant lower back pain. We thought it was my fibromyalgia but while I was taking the Forteo I noticed it started to go away. When I went for my first scan after starting it, you could see the visable difference in before I started and a year after. There was more white on the picture. My back felt stronger. When they do the bone scans, they usually just scan your lower back and hip, they dont really scan your wrist. I would bring it up to you doctor just in case.
