bored and waiting for transplant

I am not waiting for a tx, but a fun activity I enjoy doing that I think you could handle... quilting. I mostly taught myself (my first quilt was kind of a bust, but I learned from it) and I'm on my third now.

If you're not into sewing so much (mind you, I never sewed before deciding I wanted to quilt), I third the blogging suggestion.

Others have had some great ideas. What about things you can learn via the computer? For reasons unrelated to health, I've also been trying to find ways to keep myself busy and my mind focused on positive things. It helps me to learn new things and challenge this brain of mine. Are there things you'd like to learn how to do?

Right now I'm going through an online photography course I've found (free). I'm also trying to learn how to work with a photo software (photoshop elements) which is pretty fun. You can do scrapbooking, etc. as well. I've also got an aunt who loves to crochet and she's really enjoyed showing me how.

you could do digital scrapbooking if you like pictures, you could even loan yourself out to do someone in your families if you dont have alot to do--goodness knows I am about 3 years behind <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> there are alot of different software programs out there, I did my research and decided for my needs scrapbook factory deluxe was best bet but there are plenty of free programs out there too. You can spend HOURS on getting one page done if you get really into it or you can breeze througha # pages in an hour.
