I dont know what to say because I have never been in your position.

But I hope that baby turns around soon. If not I hope your c-section goes well. I know its easier said than done, but try to relax and not stress too much.

You dont want to be too tense going into this. You will be in my thoughts. Do you have anyone here that is going to post for you? Please keep us up to date!!!

Good Luck! And Happy Thoughts!!!!!!

I am thinking of you and wishing you and your baby boy the best of luck... I am sure everything will go well, you are so educated and ready for anything that's thrown at you.

Lauren-repeat after me, "nothing I did caused my baby to turn breech". Seriously it was absolutely not from you sleeping on the couch and in the end stages you have to do whatever required to get some sleep so you can continue to support that little one. This is not your fault and while it feels like the end of the 'dream birth' which I completely understand if you remember my saga of birth it will be ok.

I completely understand your wishes and sooo hope that external manipulation helps you but if not try not to get too upset. Study up on c's and epi's now so you will be prepared and go in with the mindset that your #1 goal is the delivery of a healthy child.

I know its different for everyone but my C was really not bad on recovery, I didnt do stairs for 3-4 days then tried to limit it to 1-2x a day for a week to hasten recovery, I held my incision with a pillow while coughing but really it wasnt bad. I alternated painkillers with ibuprofen 800's to help keep swelling down. I also dare say I recoverd more quickly than my friend who delivered an 8lber v at the same time.

Saying a prayer for the safe and smooth delivery of that little guy...no matter how it happens...once he's here and in your arms all will be well.
