thank you for all those ideas..i feel strangely emotional getting all your replies, like i'm not alone in this..so, thank you for that!
We did check her clotting factors which were all fine, and K levels seemed fine too..the liver factor is new to me and i will check it out.
she does play hard but sometimes bruises in the most unlikely places, that's what alerted me..

I have been bruising VERY easily for the past year or so. No idea what it's from, and like you said, in very weird places where I *know* I did not run into something, etc. Often times the bruises are quite large too...it's weird.

I've had my vitamin levels, etc. checked, and the doc said all my blood work is normal, so I'm a little baffled as well <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">
