I have been diabetic for over a year and on insulin for almost as long. Just this last week however, I have actually been hypoglycemic WITHOUT insulin. I have been getting readings of 60's to low 70's for the entire day. Needless to say, I have been holding my nightly Lantus (I think it has been about 4 days now). Last week, my sugars were in the 300's range and now they are too low. I wonder if my pancreas is just kicking in its last bit of insulin production before it returns to my usual highs. I just think that this is really odd considering I have been on insulin nonstop for some time now. Hmmm...any input would be great. I am definitely going to run this by my doc too to see what she thinks. The only time that my sugars did drop now that I think about it was when I had a really nasty infection, but it never lasted for days on end though. Hugs to all, Jenn
