Hi, I just wanted to add that i ahve been a patient at both hsopitals and went to Childrens until I was 15 until my doctor moved to MGH. Both hospitals are great with great doctors so have peace in knowing you are "safe".
Continue to have a voice for yourself and your child and never be afraid to ask any question you may have and while respect is always important for the doctors/medical field you deal with -it must be given back. That is when you know you have chosen correctly, when they listen to you as well. One thing my parents have taught me and I have learned over the 43 years of living with CF is that communication and knowledge is powerful and working as a TEAM is the key <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

We have always been at CHildrens. We have seen many changes (all good) over the 19 years. I would recommend it highly.

Both my boys have sinus issues and have been treated at Childrens by a doctor who works closely with the CF clinic.

Life makes many changes though and I will keep this in case I need it. I appreciate the note about communication. Hi,

When I moved out East, I tried MGH first and had a horrible experience there. The adult center/adult doctor was nothing that I liked, although I heard the children's area is much better. I switched over to Children's and I really like it there. My adult doctor is great and I've heard good things about their children's area as well.
