We were at MGH until two years ago when our doctor moved to Children's, and I have to say Children's has been a much better experience for me. First of all, it's just outside the city, so although traffic can still be a bear, I easily shave 30 minutes off each visit for drive-time. Also, the CF center at MGH moved many, many times in the four years we were there, and I found a couple of the locations difficult to manage with children. (Our stroller had to stay in the lobby, for example)
Another thing I appreciate about Children's is that all of the services you'll need are either brought to your room (blood draws, weight, height, oxygen saturation, etc) or located nearby. At MGH we had to visit different departments (usually different buildings) for blood work and for x-rays, and weights/heights, etc were taken in a common area.
MGH was a good experience, but Children's has been by far better for our family.
Best wishes on finding a center you feel comfortable with, and if you want to know anything further, I'd be happy to answer any questions!
