CF Clinic Complaints...Anyone Else??

My son had clinic today. His appointment was at 2:00 and we finally got in a room about 3:45....that is 1 hour and 45 minutes in the waiting room with a bunch of other cf kids and sick kids. I spent that long trying to keep a 4 year olds mask on and trying to keep him occupied so he didn't wander around the waiting room. I was so mad....and I did let them know. They dont have a clue about real life with cf....its just a job to them. I spend countless hours trying to keep my son well and from going places when I know people are sick. Then we go to his cf clinic of all places and we are forced to be around all that in the waiting room. Do they have any clue how much work and worry is involved when a child with cf gets sick? Do they realize that this is my childs life we are dealing with here. I am still so angry...it makes me not even want to take him back when he is well just for a check up. I know its important to go every three months but I will never sit in another waiting room for that long with him...I will get up and leave next time...and I told them that too! Well just needed to vent!
