CF doc or Ped. who do u call?

my daughter is relatively healthy (knock wood).
we switched peds about 4 years ago to one highly recommended by the local pharmacist (whom we have gotten to know rather well) and more than a few neighbors.
what do you know, his daughter was in Jess's dance class. He said 'wow. I never would have known she had CF'....blah blah blah.

sometimes I feel like the CF overshadows everything else. that's all they want to talk about. even when I take the non CFer in all they want to talk about is Jess.

and as much as I like the practice. (there are 4 docs) they NEVER hear anything going on in her lungs. I could go the day before a clinic visit and they still don't hear the things her CF doc does.

her CF doc is exceptional (doesn't everyone of us think that?) and the staff at the clinic is wonderful. I just call them. they have always been extremely helpful. and if they really think she needs to be seen by a pediatrician they will say so. and when I call and say her CF doc thinks she needs to be seen I always get right in.

kinda spoiled us. we don't get that kind of service for our non CFer.
