CF Salt and Metals

Same problem here. Gold all the way for me too OR short times of wearing Silver <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

I wear everything tho. Even my keyboard, mouse etc. They all get eroded from my salt output.

I would like to blame it on excessive use, but it starts showing too early <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

Did you all ever try coating things with clear nail polish? It works well for me on watches, rings, and anything else that won't be harmed by it. The nail polish has to be reapplied periodically, but it definitely helps.

I believe that my wedding ring is Titanium and it is fine... thanks for the info on the rest of these metals though... really it makes me want to experiment...

I used to have a green wrist in the summer from my watch when I worked outside.
Then I painted the back of the watch with Clear Finger Nail Polish. It helped.

I switched to a leather band , But Now I don't bother wearing a watch
or rings. The leather band did turn white from the salt though.
