CF Woman seeking Surrogate to Carry couples baby

We all have seen the trailer for Baby Momma with Tina Fey and Amy Poler.

I am a 30 year old female with CF and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 years now. We have been through 1 IVF cycle with a friend as a surrogate and it resulted in miscarriage at 8 weeks.
We are seeking another angel to try carrying our child. We have 3 frozen blastocysts left. My husband has been tested and he is not a CF carrier so our child would be healthy.
My doctor does not think it feasible that I carry a child for my health and the baby's sake.

if you don't mind me asking how is your health? i think there are afew 30 year old cfer's and a bit younger that have been through the IVF process. you might want to post on the pregancy section.

i wasn't trying but my husband and i were able to conceive and have a healthy baby girl. my health did take a little hit, but i'm trying to maintain it and be compliant.

my sister is 31 and she has two girls of her own. she did not get her tubes tied because she was going to be a surrogate for me if i was unable to conceive. i have so much respect for the people who choose to become surrogates.

That is awesome. Thanks for your reply. I am so happy you got to experience having your own child. I would so love to have my own. My husband and family don't want me to put my health in jeopardy to carry.

My heath right now is stable. I just got off of cipro and bactrum since I had an infection. I feel great now! I just got off the treadmill and walked 20 minutes and ran 10 minutes straight.
I have only been in the hospital 3 times for IV's.
I did all the IVF meds in January and had a friend put 2 embryos in. 1 took and then we miscarried in March at 8 weeks. Was very devistated! My surro is on anti-depressants now because she feels so bad for us. Ironically she is a respiraory therapist. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
We have 3 frozen blastocysts still.
My pft's are around 40%

Did you have a lot of trouble during your pregnancy? How about afterwards?
When I was over 50% on my pft's they said it would be ok for me to carry but now they advise me not to.
