I found it got worse with certain types of birth control (like the patch, which they don't recommend anymore) b/c it only served to increase the cervical mucus, which meant I had discharge pretty much ALL month long. (awesome.) But yes, one time I came home while my MIL was visiting and found she had done the laundry, and while it was a very sweet gesture, I was slightly embarrassed that she'd probably seen all my undies!
