CFers w/ no lung damage

My 33 year old husband was just diagnosed with CF last year. Currently, his only symptoms are a positive sweat test and CBAVD (and yes, we only got this diagnosis after experiencing infertility). Based on his PFTs and x-rays, his pulmonologist says that his lungs are 'pristine.'

So at this point, we're just monitoring him yearly. His genetic mutations are DF508 and 5T, in case anyone's curious.

Hi Pianist,

My boyfriend was diagnosed this year at 35. He also has no vass defs, and they could only find one mutation on the first 30 mutation test. (They found the other one after permorming a 170 mutation test). His x-ray and ptf are also normal ,but they found some bronchiectasies on CT. I recommend you to get a ct scan. X-ray and ptf can be normal if you don´t have too much lung damage.
