choking common is CF babies?

My daughter regularly chokes esp. after having her multi vitamins. Is that normal???
She has a hard time, until we have to bang her all over her back and use a nose suctioner to remove stuff from her throat.
She has turned blue quite a couple of times like this
Anyone experience the same???
The other day she stopped breathing completely and her heart jump-started again only after abt 2-3 mins.

It is really scary and her pediatrician asked us to put her on oxygen if it were ti happen again. Anything else i can do?

If the multi-vitamins are causing her to stop breathing, I would stop the multi-vitamins. My kids did much better on Vitamax from CF services pharmacy. I would try that instead of the ADEK.

I would be very concerned; which I am sure you are. It is not normal for a baby to turn blue; whether or not they have CF. Do you see a CF pediatrician? How old is your baby?
