Christmas trees and mold

Trees are a battle in our home. I've always wanted, loved, needed live Christmas trees. I'm guessing that when I mention this thread to my hubby we'll have to really reconsider my desires over mold issues. Mold issues are why we moved from our first home before Abby was born. I want nothing of mold.

I'll have to check in with my Bath and Body Works sister to see if they are going to have Wallflower holiday scents!

I grew up always having real trees & until 2 years ago had real ones. I love them, but they are messy.

My BFF mom gave us her old artificial one & it always looks great when we are done.

As my health deteriorates I tend to look for the easy way to do things.

Not to mention that the animals cant drink from the tree stand anymore HA~

If you want a real tree, get a real tree. It's not going to kill anybody. I've had a real tree every single year of my life. And it makes a big difference in the Xmas atmosphere in the house, in my opinion.

You have to be careful about how you store a fake tree too- they can be bad about harboring mold and mildew too. Not exactly what you wanted to hear, I know- sorry!
We have always had a real tree (going to get one tomorrow ), but my dream is to convince my dh to get a beautiful fake one, wire the ornaments to it, and wrap it up when Christmas is over, all ready to "unwrap" the next year, lol. Of course, now my daughter is just old enough to look forward to all the decorating... I'm toast!
