Sorry if this is going over old ground i know i have posted about this before. i have just come back from Outpatients and been given a two week course of Cipro. I have been feeling really tired and they said i've some wheezing plus i'm coughing up some crap.

I told the Doctor that it makes me sick so he reduced my dose from 750 to 500mg twice a day. He seemed to think that is the one i respond to best.
Just wondered if anyone else gets sick on it and what is the best way to take it. I think i ususlly took it on an empty stomach so maybe better on a full??

Any tips would be welcome so i don't have to look down the toilet bowl again<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

Thanks

Hi Julie,
Cipro sometimes makes me nauseas, and i find that taking it with food is best. You might want to try that and see if it helps....

I would suggest eating if that is OK to do with Cipro?? I can't take doxy on an empty stomach. Even if I just eat a piece of toast that helps tremendously.
