Hey guys I was just looking for some feedback on how everyone cleans/sterilizes their neb cups. I don't have a sterilizer, but was told just to boil them. Hey guys I was just looking for some feedback on how everyone cleans/sterilizes their neb cups. I don't have a sterilizer, but was told just to boil them. I got lucky and when I was participating in a clinical trial with the eflow they gave me an amazing way to clean my stuff. Anyways, they gave me a sterilizer that is used for breast pumps and bottles to use. It takes about two minutes and is so easy to use. I was really bad about cleaning my stuff regularly, but now that it's so easy to use I do it everyday. You put a cup of water in, put all of your pieces on a rack, and just click the button to start. I highly recommend this route!

Per the CFF, you need to clean and sterilize.
Cleaning can be done by soaking in soapy water, brushing with a toothbrush, or a dishwasher.
Sterilizing can be done by boiling, soaking alcohol, or dishwashing.

I remember doing the soapy water, alcohol, or vinegar and those all left a disgusting taste in the plastic. I could not do those at all. I forgot but the other thing I used to do was again a product to do with breast pumps. It was bags that you could fill with water and then microwave for about five minutes. You could use each bag about 20 times before moving onto a new one. However, there is a slit in them to pour out the water and they would occasionally boil over in the microwave, such a pain. I did occasionally spill them on myself when I'd pull them out. I think the bags would end up being more expensive in the long run.
