Commercial!

I don't know what it's for, except that it's something in the realm of... cough drops, etc. It's a cough suppressant of some kind. And yes, I really did swear at the TV the first time I saw it. I called the TV a "mother-fornicator" (and yes, I used harsher language) and my friend was nearby so he goes "What did I do???" It was funny... but anyways.

This guy is in an elevator, and he starts coughing. He looks all nervous and he looks around and stuff. The people around him are making faces. Then the voice over says "You have to stop that cough! <u>Because when you cough, everyone around you suffers!</u>"

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0"> It makes me so damn mad every time I frickin see it!!!

I'm SOOOO terribly sorry that <i><b>my</i></b> cough disturbs <i><b>you</i></b>, you raving @sshole.

Has anyone else seen it??? *runs around screaming*

I couldn't believe it when they said "when you cough everyone suffers". I just stood there and shook my head. I thought of all of you talking about your bad experiences with people saying nasty things when you cough.

THE COMMERCIAL IS IN BAD TASTE AND REALLY STUPID.

It's not even like I'm personally offended... it's just like WOW, people are *ridiculous!*

I also belong to a CF LJ (LiveJournal) community, and one time a girl told us something there that made me mad. She went to a play once, and on the programs it read:
"Please remember that cell phones, rustling of papers, and coughing are disruptive to other play-goers... blah blah etc."

Yeah... because we do it on purpose! I wait for a really quiet dramatic scene and then hack my brains out for giggles. Rarrrrr.

Yeah, I've heard it. Saw it once while I was doing Em's pt and said out loud "Oh eff off!" to the tv. Poor little Em just looked at me like "What's up, mom?" Stupid commercial! And the coughing note in the play program is just ridiculous! Even us non-cfers have trouble stifiling a cough. Really, does any one go to a play with the express purpose of coughing through it? thanks for sharing your pet peeve and allowing us all to do a little heatlhy venting!

Ok, I really do get where you're coming from but seriously, its cold/flu season and every other person you run across has one or the other, so understand that that is who the commercial is directed at and move on. I hate it when people give me dirty looks when I cough too but I don't fly off the handle over it.
