From age 5 until I was able to tell my mom "I will do it myself" I was probably an 8. Then I dropped to a 2/3 until college then it was maybe a 5

Of course after 2 hospitalizations I went to maybe a 6/7 again and now I am probably around an 8. I skip treatments here and there and don't ALWAYS do my vest (except mornings - always do it then). Hey I want a life too

I consider myself an 8. I am 100% compliant with nebs & vest as prescribed by the doctor. I suppose I could consider this a 10.

Things that need improvement:
Cough technique:
I am still coughing old school style between treatments when I know I should be proactively huff coughing. I am at least getting better about only huffing during vest (actually between cycles with the machine off).

Exercise:
I really only feel great when I exercise daily so I consider this what I should be doing. Right now I am working out 2-3x per week. My goal is to get back to 4-5x which I was doing 18 mo. ago.

Work/Life/Love Balance:
I continue to try to strike a balance. One good thing is I've been more focused lately. When I'm working I'm working. When I'm enjoying life I'm enjoying life etc. A big part of that has been to only allow myself on this site during Cf treatment times.

Diet:
I'm working on a high protein, carb controlled diet. It is what my doctor recommends and puts his patients on while in the hospital. Since it is his suggestion and I'm not 100% compliant doing it. Can I really say I'm a 10? I don't think so.

I wonder how many of you think about your cf compliance as a complete picture...not just are you doing your Vest and nebs. At the very least consider are you doing some sort of clearance (huff, acapella, etc.) since all the vest does is loosen crap up. I'm not trying to be judgemental. Just giving some pause for thought hopefully.

Hmmmm if I take into consideration exercise (or lack there of), eating, proper neb cleaning etc then I guess I am not even an 8!

Nebs/vests I am because I feel that effect too quickly!
