Sometimes (maybe once every 2 weeks), I skip my morning hypertonic saline.

I drink from time to time. I get stoned every once a while (no, I don't smoke it).

I eat a bunch of crap. I try to eat good stuff too, but if I want a pizza, I'm going to have a pizza!!!! If I'm eating something really yummy, I keep eating, even when I'm full.

I also should exercise, and I kind of don't. I'm not a complete couch potato, I do get up. I play with the ferret, I walk across campus to classes during the year. I ride my bike sometimes on a nice day. Then there's the unspoken exercise that I get plenty of. It may not be anything typical, but it counts as a work out... But all in all, I don't exercise nearly as much as I should.

Honestly, a life drug free doesn't bother me. It's more the idea I can't do it because of cf that pisses me off. Perhaps that is why i push myself so hard with life, drugs, excercise, everything I do.



I might also add, on a good week, i excercise 5 times a week for about an hour a day. When i was working 40-60 hours a week, i didn't work out as much, however i figured work as my cardio.



Most of you have read my blog, and the supplements i take. I still take most of them. I have to say, they make all the difference (plus the cf assigned drugs ie tobra, zithro etc).



I'm just trying to put a bit of perspective to this thread, that besides the hordes of compliant people on this site (which it seems everyone is)...there are those that lead a more...unconventional life.



We live once. I chose to live my life WITH this disease, not by it. Ya i might die younger than some, i might live longer. However, i have realized i am comfortable with my decisions.



We aren't all perfect. If you aren't doing your neb for 2 hours a day, vest, drugs....don't get too hard on yourself. Chances are you will wake up tomorrow.

Your a grown man dude, we all know right from wrong health wise, and pretty much all of us do atleast something we shouldn't, it's part of being human. Personally I wish there was something else out there for me that isn't flamingly illegal/detectable in pee, and also that isn't addictive/bad for my CF to do substance wise on weekends to wind down. Shrooms is about as close as I can see it going. Theres all kinds of hallucinogenic stuff from overseas, like in the jungles, but of course that isn't happening. Anyone got any peyote? I've always wanted to do some peyote and trip out like mad.

I've always wanted to do some peyote and trip out like mad.

I tried them for the first time in April and I'm currently on the way to buying some more. I don't make them a daily thing, but once or twice a year, yeah sure. We're only doing them so close this time because all I wanted while I was tripping was to lay outside and it was still too cold in April... So we're doing them again now so I can lay outside in the warm weather while on them. Haha.
