My son takes creon 20, 4 with meals and 1 - 2 with snacks. The enzymes were recently increased in february from 3 to 4. He has taken enzymes since he was diagnosed with cf at 4 mos.

I agree with the idea of a tube being a good idea. Parker got his about 6 weeks ago and is about to get his button put in. To some degree he has had some issues with it but it certainly makes feeding issues. My challenge now it getting the right amount of calories into him. His nutritionist is working with the idea of 2400 calories a day for him (age 9, 4'7" and 59lbs). I am not sure I agree with that but that is another post. There were several people who offered suggestions not just about whether or not to get the tube but how to address other issues such as adjustment and talking about it. That made the decision easy and the changes smoother thus far.
