It really also depends on the state you live in. I live in Illinois. I applied for disability in March 2005 and was finally approved THIS year in April...and I also had an attorney working on my case. My FEV1 was also not low enough...but am also on TOBI. I also have many other complications of CF that helped my case.

Thank you! Me and my husband are at the point right now where I HAVE to get a job. My SW said you def. don't want to be working when your trying to get disability. But like I said at this point we can't pay our bills or buy my drugs without me working so....I don't really know where that leaves me. He's looking for a different job right now that would pay better, so maybe in a couple of months (hopefully he has found one by then) I can start the process....??? I don't if theres a way to directly IM you on here so I hope you get this.
