I get that too sometimes worse then other times and I hate it. In order for me to get any sleep I end up taking theraflu. What also helps me is to do my vest and treatment right before bed. Do you do that so the effects work during the night?

I also end up sitting practically straight up in bed and prop my head just right to fall asleep. That might help a little. Otherwise if nothing is working, its all too frustrating. Maybe you could use a tune up? Good luck.

I agree with bittyhorse, try keeping some water next to your bed. I know it's a pain to wake up coughing. It can be frustrating. Be careful of peppermints, though. I used to suck on those all the time, and I got a bunch of cavities. Hope your cough gets better soon!

thanks for all the replies. i noticed last night when i used my mouth wash right before i went to bed, it numbed my throat for a little while and i didn't cough. i figure it's probably my sinuses. i used to have a lot of trouble with them, then 2 years ago i had sinus surgery and up until a couple of months ago, i hadn't had any problems. i do albuterol, and sometimes HS and my Vest in the PM and albuterol, pulmozyme, and my vest in the AM
