We have the "homebound program" here in Oklahoma. Jordan had to take advantage of it the first semester of his junior year in high school. He is in summer school right now to make up one semester of english so he can graduate on time.
The teacher they sent to the house was great! I did a lot of the teaching (mostly teaching myself!! lol), but the teacher helped us with what we didn't understand. I believe most states do accomodate chronic illnesses. Talk to the guidance councelor.
I also get you on the doctor thing. It really stinks that they don't take us parents seriously sometimes. It's next to impossible to keep from sharing germs when you are in the same house.

Sorry she's not feelin well! They can't take her credit away, even if they didn't have that program. My high school had the same thing but they were not allowed to take my credit, no matter how much I was gone.
