Hi there - I just got our Culturelle and Culturelle for Kids in today. The box says recommended for kids to open into applesauce but my daughter swallows all of her pills. Do you think it makes that much difference if she swallows it?

You can get both Culturelle's through drugstore.com but if you go to the CFF website and to the pharmacy you can click on over the counter, drugstore.com donates 10% of your order to the CFF.

I put my daughter's in the applesauce like suggested, but she is only 2. And she didn't notice any difference. Are the capsules dissolvable? I never checked.

I called Culturelle this morning to ask them about kids swallowing the pill instead of opening it into applesauce or another food. They said it's fine to swallow, those directions are just for kids that can's swallow pills yet. They also said it's best to take w/ a meal, not on an empty stomach.

What your docs told you about how your child should take it? Do they tell you something different than to take w/ a meal?
