I am trying to figure out where to go from here. Insurance is already giving me fits about going to the first supposed "specialist". I am at a loss as to what I should do! Yes his second sweat test was only 29, but the people in the lab were totally unsure about what they were doing. I am hoping, of course, that it is not CF like any mother would. But I still have my mommy sensor going off saying it is something more than just asthma. Seriously.......asthma does not cause ya to look like you poured cooking oil in the toilet.

Sorry about the hard time u are having. In the case of cooking oil in the toilet you can ask his primary Dr. to run a 72hr fecal fat and or stool elastase test. This does not require a specialist. But the results if positive May. Try that rout and see if it can get you anywhere. Being PI in most casses points right at CF.
