We are pretty fortunate that Thomas' daily meds/treatments are minimal at this time. We're currently on:

Morning:
2 puffs albuterol
1 ampule Pulmozyme neb
1cc Vitamax cherry-flavored drops
3.5cc omeprazole
CPT

Evening:
2 puffs albuterol
1 ampule Pulmozyme neb (ped said may not need evening pulmo neb every day - depending on cough)
3.5cc omeprizole
CPT
Vigorous saline nasal cleanout if needed

With each meal/snack:
3.5 caps Creon 5 pancreatic enzymes

When sick:
2 more daily chest pt
Bactrim/Septra
TOBI (fortunately almost a year of no TOBI)
Probably others I'm forgetting

Guess it does seem like a lot when you list is all out...

My son is 5 1/2 and his daily meds are:

2 Creon 10 with meals (with a max amount of 2.5 if needed )/ 1 with snacks
1 Vitamax a day
1 to 2 cans of Carnation High Calorie drinks a day depending on how well he is eating
2 puffs Albuterol inhaler before vest
Vest (Respirtec) tx 1 to 2 times a day for 30 minutes - if he has any cough at all, we increase it to 3 to 4 times a day
He was on Tobi for 6 months (28 on and 28 off) in the first part of 2006

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0"> He doesn't seem to be on as much as the others...is there anything else I need to ask my doctors about? What do the allery medicines do? Is Pulmozyme only added once they have a productive cough? My son rarely coughs (maybe once every few months when he gets a cold or his allergies act up). He goes for his quarterly checkup in about 6 weeks and just wanted to see if there was anyting I needed to ask his docs about. Thanks in advance.

My cfer is 4, has normal lung function, has chronic sinus congestion, good BMI although small in stature (which does run in our family) and is very cute! Here is the list:

7 Creon5 with meals (usually 3 meals per day, sometimes 4 meals or a snack)
30 minutes of vest in the AM

Daily probiotic, multi-vitamin + magnesium, calcium, selenium, EFA, GSH and Taurine supplements.

Simply Saline & Xlear (for chronic sinus congestion)

*we are going to be making some changes in her treatment soon. We will be adding an extra vest session (at Dr. Warwick's suggestion, not our regular CF doc) and may be adding Nasacort for sinus congestion.
