The key word would be "they don't wanna feel different".

Two things come to mind to overcome this problem...if she can take her meds somewhere in which she won't be seen by her peers when she takes them?

In my Middle School and High School days, the ladies in the Principle's office was in charge of dispensing the medications. I would come in every lunch and when I was given my dosage I would immediately take it while I was there, and no one else was really around.

The other thing would be to ask her how her stomach feels every day while she's refusing to take the meds...its predicted that she would complain of stomach issues in that you can reply with "by properly taking your meds, you can prevent that". Perhaps it would at least give her some thought to finding something else to rebel against...like curfew?! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I'm only replying as a former Teenaged boy and my rebellion was somewhat similar...kinda wished my parents might have tried a few angles in order for me to choose something else to rebel against...hope you are able to find a solution and soon....

Not taking enzymes will hurt her more than help, since her body is not properly absorbing nutrients, it will pass right through her..perhaps even depleting what she's already got.
