daytime tiredness

I am getting bad energy slumps midday.
I'd nap but I can't always do that plus I'm not a good daytime sleeper, never have been.

I wake up around 8, have breakfast, do therapy and take care of L.O. From about 11-2 I have no energy. I just want to lay on the sofa and veg. My legs ache, my eyes ache. Its really weird.

My pfts are decent right now, I don't have an infection, no 'reason' I can think of.

Does anyone else get these and please share what you are doing to try to help it.

plus I was wondering-for those of you that are coffee drinkers, do you think it helps this?-or harms it?

lately i've been feeling low of energy. i think it's because of the winter though.

Christian, do you have CFRD? Have you been tested?

Another thought is allergies. I have days like that, but its usually starting around 1:30-2 when I just cant lay down because I have to get Jazz from school.

As to the coffee....it has been said that after a few cups the caffeine benefit is maxed for that time. You are better drinking 1-2 cups in the morning then waiting a few hours & having some more.

I hope you find something to help or at least rule out causes besides Motherhood that is <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I agree with Melissa about the CFRD. I know if I don't take enough insulin and my blood sugar is high, I feel exhausted and can fall asleep in the middle of the day.
