Diabetic-like symptoms

I have had a couple of times (I have CFRD now) when my bloodsugar has felt low (shakes, sweats, etc.) but my meter (and my backup meter) have read that it is fine.

Then I found somewhere that said a rapid drop in bloodsugar can also cause the same symptoms as a low blood sugar episode, so it is possible that your bloodsugar was a bit high because your pancreas is releasing insullin too slowly, and then you have that "low" feeling when the insulin hits your system, but then your meter would read "normal" when you check it.

Does that make sense?

So anyway....PIANIST...yes get those same symptoms, but have an 'eh' A1C test. My last A1C (a year ago) was maybe 6.1 or 6.2. I am like MAMERTH...I eat a good breakfast and then two hours later, I get the shakes and am really hungry. Luckily, I am a teacher, so the kids have snack around that time! I dont get it soooo much in the afternoon, but usually after lunch I get extremely tired and sluggish. And obv if I wait too long to eat dinner or something, I get it really bad too. I also went through a time when I was REALLY thirsty, drinking upwards of a few bottles of watre a day.

Also, I have the REALLY dry skin and lips too and the B2 helped me very much!

My doc seriously thinks im nuts b/c my A1C is only bordeline. I will be getting another A1C probably this month, so I will be interested to see what it is.

Good luck.
